Motor core by wire cutting

This is a motor core (φ110×0.2mm). The material is 35A440, and it is primarily used as a component for power transmission devices. For this core, we processed it by sandwiching multiple stacked blank materials with thicker iron to reduce vibration during processing caused by the injection of cutting fluid. The processing steps were carried out in the order of "outer circumference rough machining → hole rough machining → outer circumference finishing → hole finishing." Additionally, for motor cores of this shape, having only one start hole on the outer circumference would cause the workpiece to move during processing, so we created two or more start holes for machining. Our company is capable of sourcing a wide range of materials, from general iron and SUS to amorphous products and special alloys, and we provide one-stop support from prototype processing of custom shims to mass production. This is a stator core (φ300×0.25mm). The material is 25A, and it is a product used for power transmission devices. This stator core is quite large, with a size of φ3000mm, and using wire cutting would incur enormous costs in terms of both time and money. Therefore, our company manufactured it by creating a prototype mold and performing punching through press processing. While the size is large, the precision is similar to that of other parts, making it a product that requires high processing and assembly precision of the press mold components. However, at our custom shim manufacturing center, we were able to produce it with a beautiful finish and almost no burrs through burr-free precision press processing using molds with good assembly precision. The motor core is a component that corresponds to the iron core part of the rotor (rotating part) and stator (stationary part) that make up a motor. For example, more than 50 motors are used in a single automobile. At Hirai Precision Industry, we can offer manufacturing of motor cores through etching and machining processes.
